FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHY DON’T YOU HAVE SAINT SO-AND-SO LISTED?

Although we’ve put a lot of effort into creating a thorough list of saints, we’ve undoubtedly missed a few.  If we don’t have a record for a saint (or Blessed or Venerable) that you’re looking for, you can add that person right now.  Login, head over to the Add a Saint (or Relic) page, tell us a few things, and that’s it.  Thank you ahead of time for your kind help.

WHY MUST I HAVE AN ACCOUNT TO CONTRIBUTE?

SPAM and malicious folks, that’s why.  We have to do something to protect the integrity of our site and the listings.  So, we ask users to login via a social login to keep everything on the up-and-up.  Don’t worry, though, our privacy policy is simple and what little info we know about you won’t ever be sold or transferred to a third-party.

CAN I ADD MY PARISH?

Absolutely!  Do it now…just make sure it’s not already in our database.

Step 1: Search for your location on the Proximity Search page.  If we don’t have it…

Step 2: Head to the Add a Site page, fill it out, and submit.  Done.

We’ll do a quick review before it goes live on the site; which takes anywhere from 12 minutes to 12 hours.  And Thank You! from us and future Saint Finder users.

WHAT’S WITH THE DONATIONS?

Well, we’d like to keep Saint Finder advert free, if we can, but our costs need to be paid somehow.  Hence, our humble request for donations.  We truly appreciate your generosity and pray for each and every one of our donors.

WHERE DO DONATIONS GO?

First, donations cover hosting costs.  Anything beyond the immediate expenses is split between 1) a buffer fund for hosting costs, 2) a fund to create a mobile Saint Finder app and 3) paying a meager amount to the folks who code and manage the site.  If ever there’s a surplus of donations, we’ll let you know with a massive THANK YOU!  Until then, we still Thank You for being generous.

ARE YOU A NOT-FOR-PROFIT?

No, Peter’s Mark LLC is not a non-profit.  Starting a 501(c)3 is complicated and expensive.  So, while your donations are put to excellent use, they are not tax-deductible.
